It is one of the best films ever made in my opinion as well. I hadn't seen it in its entirety in years and wow, it still has this offers something new. thevoid99https://www.blogger.com/profile/03055459287396592446noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21463545.post-22314614244051161492019-01-30T06:17:47.695-08:002019-01-30T06:17:47.695-08:00This remains one of my favorite films OF ALL TIME....This remains one of my favorite films OF ALL TIME. I think it works on every level - performance, cinematography, musical score, writing. I adore it. I remember seeing it in the theater during its release. I left the theater in awe. Also, we actually used some of its music in our wedding! It ended up being better than I thought it would be as the years gone by and through re-watches. I think it's time to revisit that film.

@Brittani-See it. It's not like a lot of war films yet it's really more of a genre-bending film.

@Courtney-Indeed. This is why I love Michael Mann so much. Only he could do that and do it right. I wish he would go back to 35mm filmmaking instead of emphasizing on digital video. thevoid99https://www.blogger.com/profile/03055459287396592446noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21463545.post-25137404215055104922019-01-29T07:43:40.854-08:002019-01-29T07:43:40.854-08:00The final scene that has no dialogue is truly bril...The final scene that has no dialogue is truly brilliant. So many directors try to recreate this concept and fail.
