Mostly because of the music and its energy.

@Ruth-See City of God. It is intense but it's a story that is very gripping and plays to what goes on in Brazil during those times.thevoid99https://www.blogger.com/profile/03055459287396592446noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21463545.post-13251972830308156952015-07-19T11:00:57.520-07:002015-07-19T11:00:57.520-07:00Boy there are still so many I want to see… Waltz w...Boy there are still so many I want to see… Waltz with Bashir, The Master, Persepolis, A Separation, etc. City of God is one I’m curious about but the high-octane brutality you spoke of is keeping it at bay, I’m afraid I won’t be able to handle that one.

Spirited Away is the only Studio Ghibli I’ve seen so far and I enjoyed it! I really enjoyed it. Glad to see it get some love here. Lots of other great titles, here, too. In particular, I'm happy you included two more mature animated films: Waltz with Bashir and Persepolis. Both are fantastic. City of God and Kill Bill are among my all-time faves. The only movie I was truly surprised to see here is School of Rock. Not that it's a bad film. I just never thought of it as anything more than cute, lol.Dellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05634519605152190304noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21463545.post-36627363997716194442015-07-16T13:12:51.570-07:002015-07-16T13:12:51.570-07:00@Chris-These 15 years have been great for document...@Chris-These 15 years have been great for documentaries. I love them. I knew they needed some love.

@Brittani-That scene in The Wolf of Wall Street is still the funniest thing I had seen in years. I still remember the moment I saw it in the theaters and the people around me. It was laughter at its loudest. Even though they weren't a lot of people, the continuous sound of laughter still rings as I nearly pissed myself from laughing so hard. thevoid99https://www.blogger.com/profile/03055459287396592446noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21463545.post-36369670778270925802015-07-16T06:12:57.932-07:002015-07-16T06:12:57.932-07:00There's so many excellent films here. Great to see The Wolf of Wall Street so high on your list, I consider it among the best of the decade. "DiCaprio goes to 11", I like the Spinal Tap reference :)
Happy you included a few documentaries, Exit Through the Gift Shop is brilliant.

Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09395044055566348346noreply@blogger.com
