He is so funny in this film as it showed why he's so awesome. thevoid99https://www.blogger.com/profile/03055459287396592446noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21463545.post-49441330879360225772015-04-29T12:07:58.642-07:002015-04-29T12:07:58.642-07:00I love this film as well. MOM, et al but this is one of the best of the bunch... if not THE best. Harrison Ford showed some incredible range during the '80s and topped it off by doing this rom-com and is the object of affection instead of the woman. A nice twist to the formula, I thought.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08164105442273577128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21463545.post-78982900789660833802015-04-09T12:19:21.312-07:002015-04-09T12:19:21.312-07:00@ruth-I think Griffith's naivete actually work...@ruth-I think Griffith's naivete actually works as I bought into the fact that she could do something like this with her limited education. Plus, she was able to really make us root for her while I also enjoyed the scenes she had with Ford.thevoid99https://www.blogger.com/profile/03055459287396592446noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21463545.post-13889748912277954282015-04-09T09:28:59.028-07:002015-04-09T09:28:59.028-07:00It's kinda dated but I remember really liking ...It's kinda dated but I remember really liking this one. I like the unlikely pairing of Griffith and Ford, though at times I find it hard to believe Griffith is smart enough for this role. I should rewatch this as I forgot David Duchovny had a cameo. Oh, I like the song Let The River Run, too!Ruthhttp://flixchatter.netnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21463545.post-18735895702646695852015-04-08T11:58:06.387-07:002015-04-08T11:58:06.387-07:00It maybe a product of its time but I still think i...It maybe a product of its time but I still think it's a great film. Hell, I like this film more than The Graduate. Weaver was amazing as I think she should've won the Oscar although I think she should've gotten it for Aliens. Plus, I would've also rooted for Joan Cusack who is great in this as well. It's also one of my mom's favorite films.thevoid99https://www.blogger.com/profile/03055459287396592446noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21463545.post-57357542855251015512015-04-08T09:05:38.149-07:002015-04-08T09:05:38.149-07:00I like this...it's fun...but it's also flu...I like this...it's fun...but it's also fluffy and kind of forgettable/dated if you will. Still, Weaver is on fire! Wish she'd won the Oscar.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
