For those of you that have been following this blog. Thank you for reading.
Coming this month and the months to follow will be more Criterion DVD reviews for Brazil, Solaris, Che, George Washington, The Leopard, and My Own Private Idaho. I would also hope for a review of the upcoming Criterion DVD to The Thin Red Line as well. New film reviews are definitely coming but it depends on the film. Even as it might relate to whatever projects from LAMB. Reviews for new theatrical releases however, might not be coming until October.
Plans for any music reviews is currently on hold as it's not likely I will delve into any 2010 album releases until very late in the year though I do plan on attending the upcoming Deerhunter concert this coming Oct.
Then there's the Auteurs profile series. The first one for Sofia Coppola has been a success as I plan to do more. For the second one. I'm leaning towards Todd Haynes as I hope to review Superstar: The Karen Carpenter Story, Poison, and Dottie Get Spanked while posting my other reviews that I wrote on his films. Originally, I had Terrence Malick as my premier profile in the Auteurs series but that will be delayed once there's news about the release for his upcoming film The Tree of Life.
After Todd Haynes, the next director to be profiled will be Darren Aronofsky to celebrate the upcoming release for his new film Black Swan. I will post extended DVD reviews of Pi, Requiem for a Dream, and The Wrestler (once I obtain the DVD for that) along with a review of The Fountain (which currently does not have a proper DVD release). After that, I hope to do David Fincher next though I will have a review of The Social Network coming next month.
