In non-film news. For the first-time ever in 23 years, Atlanta has finally won a championship. December 8, 2018 will be a day many futbol (soccer) fans at the ATL will remember. A second-year team that is the Atlanta United Football Club has defeated the Portland Timbers 2-0 at our home in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. A stadium that was made for both the United and the Atlanta Falcons yet the latter haven't really been doing great and could barely fill more than half. The Mercedes-Benz Stadium is really the place that the United built! It's their house. Now and forever, we're champions. To the Fox Sports broadcasters, to the naysayers, to all of the haters.... Y'ALL CAN FUCK OFF AND DIE! Thank you Tata. Thank you Arthur Blank. Thank you Josef Martinez, Brad Guzan, Michael Parkhurst, Franco Escobar, Greg Garza, Miguel Almiron, Hector Villalba, and everyone else. Gracias! ATLANTA UNITED.... Thank you. I know we've only had the team for 2 years now but they've managed to win the hearts of this city and actually bring us a big title for the first time since the Atlanta Braves won the World Series in 1995. Sure, our head coach and one of our players are leaving but the foundation has been set and we're rumored to be getting a top coach from Argentina.
